Before the whispers, before the betrayal, there was only the battlefield. Lu Bu, the rising warblade of the Eastern plains, once wore his armor with ruthless pride and unshakable conviction. Clad in golden spaulders, lacquered black iron, and a blood-red plume, he was a living weapon—fierce, loyal, and uncontested. Spearheading his commander's elite cavalry, Lu Bu struck like lightning and vanished like smoke.
Yet, even the toughest iron corrodes, and it was there, in the rotting heart of the capital, where Lu Bu first laid his eyes on Diaochan—an attendant cloaked in quiet danger whose every word echoed in his mind, and every glance burned his senses. Their connection was sharp, secret, and forbidden. Still yet, it would creep into his marrow, slowly softening the edge he once honed.
Here is a rare glimpse of a man not yet shattered—his heart cold, will forged, and mind sharpened. Not yet consumed by Chaos, Lu Bu walks the edge, still serving something far greater. He is Razor's Edge.

Throes of Ambition
"Long divided, the empire must unite. Long united, it must divide."
-The Mosune Annals
Very often, the larger the crisis looms, the closer the world is drawn together. In Tya, however, the opposite rings true. For, even as the vast landscapes and distant horizons remain shrouded in mystery, familiar clues continue to dot its pages, and tired tragedies play time and again. Even on the shores of its Eastern continent, the fate of Lu Bu, a young, larger-than-life warrior, could not emerge unscathed from the Chaos sweeping the land.
Scouted as a boy for his natural talent with horses, Lu Bu's sharp instincts and fearlessness soon earned him command of a cavalry regiment. His victories earned him recognition, but when denied a seat in the Capital Court in the wake of its collapse, his impatience festered into resentment, and resentment into hatred. What Lu Bu failed to recognize were the undercurrents of a deeper war being waged, so when approached in secret by a man known as Dong Zhuo, who offered him consolation, he was caught off guard by a decisive proposal: Join hands with the largest junta in the East, and secure a role in the rise of Dong's new empire. The cost was simple: Deliver the head of his own commander, as a token of loyalty.
The choice haunted Lu Bu, but the allure of Dong Zhuo's promise proved irresistible. Late one night, beneath the shadow of the barracks, he struck down the man who mentored him, trading his honor for ambition. As Lu Bu delivered the head to Dong Zhuo, the warlord smiled and placed what felt like the devil's hand upon his shoulder. Under Dong Zhuo's banner, Lu Bu's legend grew, becoming the warlord's enforcer with his victories spreading fear and carnage across the land. Yet amidst the bloodshed, something unexpected happened.
Enter Diaochan. Like the dawn that follows a storm, her presence was gentle yet magnetic. For the first time in many moons, Lu Bu felt something stir within him beyond ambition. Diaochan's beauty only was matched by her quiet strength, her voice softening the whispers of Chaos that had begun to plague him, offering a fleeting vision of redemption.
While their connection deepened, it remained shrouded in secrecy, for indeed she belonged to Dong Zhuo. In a subtle way, Diaochan's compassion began to temper the darkness within him, rekindling bits of his humanity. Yet, even as she healed his heart, her presence introduced a dangerous tension. Dong Zhuo's possessiveness towards her was no secret, and Lu Bu found himself caught between his burgeoning desires and his loyalty to the figure who raised him to power. He began to spiral.
As Diaochan pleaded with Lu Bu to see reason, the resentment he harbored clouded his mind. Her words, though spoken with sincerity, felt poisoned, as if they carried Dong Zhuo's manipulations. Whispers of Chaos grew deafening, urging him to strike, promising him a legacy of fire and steel— with Diaochan by his side.
Under a blood-red sky, Lu Bu now stands at the threshold of betrayal, a shadow of his former self locked in a battle between, love, loyalty, and madness. As the storm within him reaches its apex, the man who was Lu Bu descends further into the void, consumed by the Chaos. What shall remain is a question only time may answer.
