Baron

Baron may have never had the power he so craved in life, but that does not stop him from doing all he can to win it in death. His Glory Baron Eustice Beeding III, to use his full title, held land in the ancient Yalnor Kingdom, known for his high taxes on the peasants, his arrogance, and his hatred of anyone more powerful than himself. Seen as a potential threat by the king, Baron was ordered to join a doomed campaign with his knights to seize lands from Nordshire in the south, in what would become Nordshire Cemetery. Shortly after the battle began, Baron was struck in the leg by an arrow and fell off his horse. Although he screamed for help from his men, none came, enraging him and attracting an undead monster tasked with killing any wounded so as to provide death to feed the sick land. As the undead axe fell on the baron's neck, his head tumbling into the mud, he used the last instances of life to offer his soul to Death itself so that he may use his rage at the betrayal of his men and the king who sent him into an unwinnable battle to have his revenge. The offer was accepted. Baron's splendid armor first glowed a sickly green before standing up, headless, the furious eternal flame of undeath blazing through his armor, taking the axe that had claimed his own head as a weapon. He was returned to Tya and ready to take what he felt was owed to him in life. Sensing an opportunity for power in the expanding realm of Nordshire Cemetery, Baron used his rage against those who betrayed him in life. In a furious series of battles, he has shown power he never had in life, killing thousands upon thousands, including the knights who had left him behind in battle. Now more furious than ever, driven by an insatiable need to reclaim his old lands, he has sworn he shall be king of Yalnor, and all shall join him in undeath. In the reeking mists of Nordshire Cemetery, he plots his vengeful conquest, driven by a thirst for power and land that was promised in his life. Now he shall take it in his death.
