The Arctic Ripper
Obtained from The Arctic Ripper limited bundle. Time-limited offer in Skin Shop.
When the rupture from Mechapolis cast the land into ice, Ardea stood defiant, a beacon of warmth amid the encroaching frost. For seven days, she spun her blazing chains in a furious whirlwind, warding off the cold as an Orcish tribe—her kin, her family—flocked to her side, seeking the warmth only she could provide. On the seventh day, her flames dimmed, shifting from searing heat to crystalline cold. Transformed into the Arctic Ripper, her skin now radiates with glacial runes, her chains frozen yet whirling with impossible power. The tribe huddles close, sustained by the aura she bears—an unbreakable fusion of fire's memory and winter's resilience. Against the frigid wasteland, Ardea endures, her will as steely as the ice she now commands. With her tribe sheltered beneath her chilling light, she wields the frost as she once wielded flame, a guardian carved from the harsh heart of winter.
Aspects
0Blade of the Inferno
"Saw it with my own eyes. A human girl running amongst the Orcs like she was one of them." – Bloodstained pages from a poacher's journal Known by the Orcish tribe that raised her as The Blade of the Inferno, Ardea charges into battle in a fiery storm of fury, wielding chains and fire alike with incredible precision. The way she moves, it almost seems as though she was born to fight on the battlefield. But her origins were far, far humbler. Ardea was welcomed into the world by farmers after an unlucky harvest season. Hard times had fallen on the village and, with winter looming, many feared for the future. One night, a fire broke out and swept through the village, rendering it ashes. Having seen the flames on the horizon, an Orcish tribe arrived too late. As they took in the blackened ruins, they heard the sound of a baby crying. Venturing into the remains of a collapses farm, an Orc discovered Ardea in her crib, untouched by flame or ash. She was the only survivor. The Orcs decided to raise the human baby as one of their own. While Ardea initially struggled to fit in with the Orcish children, her bullheaded nature and fierce determination eventually won her friends. Like most Orc youths, she threw herself into training once she was old enough to hold a weapon. Inspired by the tales she heard of her own origin, Ardea decided that she would learn to master fire and control its destructive potential. Ardea has never let her past hold her back, and she fights as a proud Orcish Warrior. But she will on occasion find herself wondering if any of her human relatives survived. She dreams of one day searching for her kin. But in the meantime, she is more than content to hone her craft and prove her worth to both her tribe and herself.
